Programme Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Programme Coordinator to support our programme activities in the country. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative assistance and support in routine services and activities within Programme.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Senior Programme Coordinator. You will work closely with our Programme Officer to ensure the effective implementation of programme activities, monitor progress, and report on results.

Duties:

  • Provide administrative support to the Programme Officer and other team members as required.
  • Assist in organizing and documenting the selection of partners in accordance with the policy on selection and retention of partners.
  • Support the development and implementation of monitoring plans for activities implemented through partnerships and those under direct implementation.
  • Contribute to the review and analysis of operations plans, mid-year and year-end reports, ensuring quality assurance and compliance with established policies, guidelines, procedures, and standards.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with 2 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree with 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to liaise with other UNHCR offices in the country and partner organizations.

Preferred Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Project Control, Risk Management, Administration, Finance, or Supply is considered an asset.
