Job Description
  • Analyze procurement processes from a tax perspective and optimize business rules to enhance efficiency.
  • Propose process improvements by deeply understanding procurement processes, considering Brazilian indirect tax requirements.
  • Verify purchase orders, contracts, tax invoices, and logistics documents to ensure compliance with Brazilian tax legislation.
  • Analyze procurement processes to identify opportunities for tax savings and evaluate the impact of import taxes.
  • Support procurement and finance teams in analyzing supplier tax risks and provide tax training.
  • Monitor changes in Brazilian tax legislation and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Education: Fields of study: Finance, Taxation, or related areas.
  • Experience:At least 3 years of experience in Brazilian taxation, preferably in procurement-related taxes or at Big Four firms.
  • Skills:Proficiency in Brazilian tax legislation; knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Languages:Fluent in Portuguese and English.
