Procurement Specialist PositionThis role entails procuring goods and services for our organization. We are seeking an experienced procurement specialist to join our team.
About the Job:We are looking for a skilled professional with experience in negotiating deals, developing commodity strategies, and identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
Main Responsibilities:- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms
- Collaborate with category managers to develop procurement strategies
- Identify areas for innovation and operational efficiency
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
- Proficiency in English language
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering, or Business Administration
- Previous experience in purchasing, logistics, and inventory management
- Familiarity with metal-mechanical, shipbuilding, O&G, or heavy equipment manufacturing sectors is beneficial
