Account Manager Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Client Service Professional to join our team as an Account Manager. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the strategic and operational performance of client captives.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering tailored management services to a portfolio of captive insurance companies. They will work closely with internal experts and external stakeholders such as clients, regulators, and service providers.

  • Ensure strong relationships with clients, regulators, captive directors, and key service providers.
  • Collaborate with the Client Service Team and interact with clients, prospects, regulators, and external service providers.
  • Liaise with insurance brokers and reinsurance brokers as required.
  • Assist with underwriting decisions in conjunction with the Client Service Team and the Practice Underwriting resources.
  • Monitor exposures and risk transfer pricing within assigned portfolio.
  • Assist with regulatory approval for changes to the business plan.
  • Assist with Board approval for underwriting decisions.
  • Monitor domicile solvency and capital requirements.
  • Obtain regulatory approval of changes to business plan.
  • Obtain board approval for underwriting decisions.
  • Account for premium. Agree reserving methodology.
  • Ensure production of management accounts, statutory accounts, and information, budgets, cash flow statements, and supplementary information as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate board meetings.
  • Produce timely board papers.
  • Review minutes prior to distribution.
  • Take action on matters arising from client meetings.

Requirements:

  • Participate in and provide input on strategic and major operational issues.
  • Assume responsibility for specific area of company strategy.
  • Maintain contact with all client directors and advise them of any developments.
  • Keep Practice leadership apprised of client developments.
