Job Title: Head of Compliance

High Street Resources is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Compliance function, ensuring the highest standards of regulatory compliance and risk management.

Job Summary

The Head of Compliance will be responsible for developing and implementing a robust compliance framework, mitigating financial crime risks, and protecting the integrity of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance program, ensuring adherence to local regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Lead the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure effective risk management and compliance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on sanctions, regulatory requirements, and compliance best practices to business and operations teams.
  • Manage relationships with regulatory bodies, ensuring provision of required information and coordination of examinations and reviews.
  • Design and conduct training programs for staff on regulatory requirements, compliance best practices, and risk management.
Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree and preferably a Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • CAMS or certified from the International Compliance Association.
  • 10+ years of banking experience, with at least 5 years in compliance, internal audit, or risk management.
