Michael Page is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAM Finance Director to join our team in the South America region.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies and initiatives to support business objectives in South America.
- Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, ensuring high performance and alignment with company goals.
- Financial Planning and Reporting: Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes for the South America region.
- Financial Analysis and Optimization: Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Cash Flow and Liquidity Management: Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to optimize financial resources and support operational efficiency.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements across South American countries of operation.
- Strategic Decision-Making: Collaborate with other functional leaders to support strategic decision-making and drive cross-functional initiatives.
- Investment Analysis and M&A: Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers, and acquisitions in the South American market, providing financial analysis and recommendations.
- Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local government agencies, financial institutions, and external partners.
- High Communication Capacity: Strong communication skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Pro Business Profile: Proven track record of success in a business environment.
- Financial Strategy and Planning: Experience in developing and implementing financial strategies and plans.
- Cost Optimization and Efficiency: Ability to optimize costs and improve operational efficiency.
- Capital Management: Experience in managing cash flow, working capital, and liquidity.
- Risk Management and Compliance: Knowledge of local financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements.
- Business Intelligence and Analytics: Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights.
- Strategic Investments and M&A: Experience in evaluating investment opportunities and providing financial analysis and recommendations.
- Corporate Governance and Stakeholder Relations: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
