Automated Test Developer Job Description

As an Automated Test Developer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications.

Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using various frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, and UFT.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, propose test automation strategies, and ensure reuse of test components.

  • Design and develop automated test scripts using various frameworks
  • Propose test automation strategies for each project
  • Ensure reuse of test components
  • Plan and optimize automated test suites
  • Perform automated tests and analyze results
  • Identify and report detected malfunctions of systems

Key Responsibilities:

Test Automation Skills Required
  • Knowledge in a framework such as Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, and UFT
  • Testing knowledge
  • Proficiency in test management tools, preferably Microfocus/HP-ALM, Jira/Xray, and/or Octane
  • Experience with mobile, desktop, SAP, mainframe, and/or web test automation
  • Experience in agile SCRUM projects
  • Minimum experience of 3 years for full-time positions and 4 years for senior roles
