Regional Logistics Manager Job Description:

As a Regional Logistics Manager, you will play a critical role in leading and managing regional warehouse operations to improve customer experience, drive cost savings, and reduce quality issues.

This position is accountable for implementing necessary changes across the warehouse network, promoting a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support a team of warehouse supervisors and their operational teams, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Logistics, Planning, Sourcing, and Quality, to drive strategic initiatives and improve operational efficiency.
  • Define and manage the regional distribution model, standardizing best practices across warehouse operations, and ensuring seamless execution of logistics processes.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving projects, streamlining processes, and improving supply chain resilience.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external warehouses, 3PLs, and suppliers, driving business growth and optimizing logistical solutions.
  • Review and manage invoices, purchase orders, and shipping documents, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of any issues.
  • Support efficient inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality service.
  • Monitor and improve warehouse-related contracts, shipping documents, and inventory management processes, minimizing errors and maximizing productivity.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve complex supply chain challenges, applying advanced analytical skills and creative problem-solving techniques.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in logistics, warehouse management, or regional supply chain roles.
  • Proven leadership and direct leadership experience, with strong communication, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, develop insights, and make informed decisions, driving business growth and improvement.
  • Advanced level of English language proficiency required.
Preferred Skills:
  • Proficiency in Ball's internal manufacturing and logistics systems and procedures, business practices, customer, and manufacturing needs and expectations.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems and solutions, including ERPs (e.g., Oracle, JDE) and productivity software (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
