Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Security Specialist III to join our team. As a key member of our security group, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper visibility, detection, and protection of our systems.
The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of information security concepts and experience with implementing technical security controls. You will work closely with our IT Security Manager and collaborate with others to develop and implement our comprehensive security strategy.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic roadmaps to harden systems and close vulnerabilities.
- Design and implement automation, security architecture, standards, and new technology.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify gaps and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Evaluate current or emerging technologies to ensure alignment with global security strategy.
- Play a key role in the identification, assessment, prioritization, and remediation of cyber security risks and vulnerabilities.
Requirements:
- 8+ years relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or comparable work experience.
- Preferred – CISSP or similar technical certifications.
- Strong experience in maintaining healthy operations of security tooling and infrastructure.
- Extensive experience in developing automation (SOAR) processes and scripting knowledge.
- Demonstrated technical experience in related security disciplines such as intrusion detection and prevention.
- Strong ability to prioritize and track multiple projects in parallel.
