- Job Summary: This role coordinates and dispatches shipments, performs various tasks related to order fulfillment, and works closely with teams to ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor service orders and update reports as required
- Record inbound and outbound equipment information
- Investigate overdue shipments and record relevant details
- Serve as Senior Dispatcher and train and certify dispatch associates
- Resolve higher-level problems and escalate to management when necessary
- Play a key role in ensuring timely dispatching and coordinated pickup and delivery of customer orders
- Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years' experience in customer service and/or dispatch in a transportation, distribution, or order-fulfillment industry
- Strong communication and data entry skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
