Content Strategist

At ByteDance, we're dedicated to creating innovative solutions that empower creators. Our goal is to inspire video creation by providing users with a wide range of editing functions and easy-to-use templates.

As a Content Strategist, you'll be responsible for developing vertical content and commercial content, improving the content consumption experience for different user groups, and contributing to monetization targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing content strategies to drive engagement and revenue growth.
  • Analyzing data and metrics on content consumption to inform content development directions.
  • Managing the entire process of content planning, production, promotion, and monetization.
  • Collaborating with product teams, commercial teams, and marketing teams to coordinate resources and achieve business goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any major, preferably related to film production, digital marketing, communication, or visual design.
  • 3+ years of experience in content-related project management or operations, preferably in short video/commercial industries.
  • Familiarity with digital content ecosystems and data analytics.
  • Fluency in English and experience working in remote online collaboration environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good knowledge of short video creation or editing, familiar with tools such as CapCut, Adobe, Alightmotion, etc.
  • Organized and structural mindset, with skills in target breakdown, strategic thinking, and planning.
