Electrical Procurement Manager

We are seeking an experienced procurement specialist to oversee the procurement process for electrical construction projects. This role will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.
Responsibilities:- Sourcing and procuring electrical materials, equipment, and components from qualified suppliers.
- Negotiating favorable pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to optimize cost-effectiveness.
- Conducting market research to identify reliable suppliers and maintaining a comprehensive supplier database.
- Preparing and issuing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Monitoring and tracking purchase order status, resolving any discrepancies or delays.
- Collaborating with project managers and engineers to identify procurement requirements and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, addressing any issues or concerns proactively.
- Implementing cost-saving initiatives, such as bulk purchasing, value engineering, and supplier consolidation.
- Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels and managing stock levels to avoid shortages or excesses.
- Staying up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and procurement best practices.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures.
- Providing support to junior procurement specialists and resolving procurement-related issues.
