The business analyst will collaborate with data architects to develop and document data structures, data lineage, and metadata catalogs.
They will serve as subject matter experts for data assets to stakeholders and create educational materials and user guides on data architecture and usage.
Core Responsibilities:- Maintain and update business rule specifications related to data processing and execution.
- Enhance and maintain metadata for assigned data assets: Data Category, Data Subject Category, Business Asset, Allowed Data Usage, and Prohibited Data Usage.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, information management, or analytics.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in process development within a data management environment.
- Experience working with data schemas and formats including JSON, Parquet, and AVRO.
- Proficiency in data handling/quality tools (SAS, SQL, DataStage, or other industry-standard tools).
- Strong proficiency in SQL with the ability to run ad hoc queries and conduct analysis.
