Senior Translation Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Translation Lead to oversee large and complex translation projects. As a lead translator, you will manage the work of in-house and freelance translators, ensuring linguistic excellence within the translation team.
Key Responsibilities:- Translate software, technical, and multimedia texts into your native language with precision and accuracy.
- Review (edit and proof) translations done by other translators, maintaining high-quality standards.
- Understand and correctly apply SDL's linguistic and project procedures.
- Meet required standards for quality, throughput, and delivery deadlines.
- Act as lead translator on designated projects and accounts, driving successful outcomes.
- Effectively manage terminology to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Mentor translation team members to strengthen their skills and expertise.
- Contribute to maintaining high-quality standards throughout the team, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Improve systems and procedures to optimize translation workflows.
Performance Criteria:
- Quality of work delivered.

- Competence with required tools and technology.
Competences and Experience:
- Professional translation/localization experience: 3+ years.
- Native speaker ability in translation target language.
- Excellent command of required source language.
- High-level knowledge of cultural standards associated with source and target languages.
