Job Title: Functional Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Architect to join our team at Vallourec South America. As a key member of our Digital Transformation team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing global Digital & IS functional roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business strategy and needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and monitor functional roadmaps in close collaboration with business stakeholders, understanding short-term and long-term needs.
  • Lead project framing and pre-studies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to build project budgets and planning.
  • Ensure Digital & IS solutions are aligned with business needs and lead to simplification.
  • Handover projects to Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, and project teams.
  • Supervise project execution to ensure it contributes to the long-term roadmap.
  • Deliver functional roadmaps and gate passing on pre-study phases.

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of Vallourec processes on your scope of responsibility.
  • Ability to learn and understand Digital and IS solutions, contributing to Solution Architects recommendations and choices.
  • Ability to be innovative and manage convergence of the 3 regions, working in a multicultural environment.
  • Communication and change management skills.
  • Working language: English (fluent).

Scope and KPIs:

  • Scope: set of functions transverse to all regions.
  • Interacts with head of functions (corporate & Regions), VDIS COEs, and Enterprise Architecture.
  • Team supervised: external consultants.
  • Success measurement KPIs: Customer Satisfaction, transversality of solutions, QCD on projects, Run Costs on delivered projects.
