Backend Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer to develop multi-tenant SaaS solutions and maintain core components of the VTEX IO Platform.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on solving complex technical challenges at the intersection of platform engineering and product development.

  • Implement, evolve, and maintain infrastructure layers and applications, runtime apps, builder apps, etc.
  • Develop APIs, SDKs, and developer tools that enable users to build and manage extensible apps.
  • Collaborate closely with other engineers, product managers, specialists, and designers.
  • Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code with a focus on scalability and extensibility.

The VTEX IO Apps Platform team is building the foundation and tools for the extensibility of commerce interactions.

We are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the platform that empowers developers, product teams, and business users to create, manage, and scale extensible Apps that interact intelligently with customers, employees, and systems.
