Job Title: Senior Wealth Attorney

This role presents an exceptional opportunity to provide comprehensive legal support to our wealth management businesses.

  • Provide expert legal services, including handling escalations, conducting thorough research, and collaborating with senior team members on various business requests and regulatory projects.
  • Review account documentation, draft customer-facing communications, and work on special initiatives.
  • Support the Firm's Advisors, Sales Management, Operations, and Supervisory teams while working closely with colleagues on the Legal team, Compliance, Controls, and Risk to ensure comprehensive and effective support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Handling escalations sent to the JPM WM legal team, completing detailed legal research, and assisting senior team members with a wide range of business requests and regulatory projects.
  • Being highly organized, attentive to detail, exercising sound decision-making, and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Thriving in a fast-paced organization where timely execution of high-quality work product is expected.
Requirements:

We are seeking a candidate who:

  • Has a law degree and membership in the relevant jurisdictional organization.
  • Is fluent in written and spoken English, with excellent English writing and oral communication skills.
  • Has a minimum of 2 years of experience in legal practice.
  • Has outstanding legal research skills and can collaborate effectively with attorneys and other business and compliance professionals.
