A Day In The Life as a Marketing Operations Specialist

In this dynamic role, you will spend the morning checking emails and assigned tickets to plan a productive day. Your priorities may shift based on new requests or campaign updates. You will focus on building and executing marketing campaigns that support field teams.

You will use Knak and Marketo to create email and landing page assets. Ensuring they meet high quality standards is crucial. This involves reviewing every detail, from correct formatting to proper links. No asset can proceed without your thorough review.

As you work, you will update ticket statuses and communicate with stakeholders. You will answer outstanding questions and finalize approvals for ready-to-launch assets. Staying in contact with team members helps ensure seamless execution.

Your goal is to make a business impact. Your work is essential for both Marketing teams and the company's success.

Job Summary

This integral member of our Marketing Operations team is responsible for producing and reviewing campaign assets. These assets drive demand and lead generation activities. A key responsibility is creating detailed email and landing pages while adhering to strict quality assurance guidelines.

Responsibilities
  • Build, test, and launch email campaigns and landing pages
  • Conduct thorough quality control with strong attention to detail
  • Partner with stakeholders to provide expert advice on email best practices
  • Organize A/B testing opportunities for email and landing page assets
  • Create and maintain recurring audience segmentations
  • Pull weekly/monthly/yearly reporting for Marketo campaigns
  • Utilize project management tools like Wrike to manage campaign requests
  • Clean up lists for data imports with a focus on completeness, standardization, and de-duplication
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (marketing, communications, journalism, liberal arts, engineering)
  • 2+ years of experience in Marketing Operations in a B2B environment
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Marketo; experience with Knak and Wrike is an advantage
  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS concepts preferred
  • Service-oriented attitude and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
  • Able to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities while meeting deadlines under pressure
  • Able to work cross-functionally and globally
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in English (other European languages are a plus)
