OKTO is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Brazil. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.
Key Responsibilities- Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure software meets client needs and is cost-effective.
- Requirements Analysis: Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Test Case Development: Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases to ensure thorough testing.
- Bug Identification and Tracking: Identify, record, document, and track bugs to ensure timely resolution.
- Regression Testing: Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved to ensure software stability.
- Process Development: Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
- Collaboration: Liaise with internal teams, such as developers and product managers, to identify system requirements.
- Process Improvement: Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies to improve testing processes.
- Proven Experience: Proven work experience in software testing.
- Software QA Knowledge: Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Test Planning and Execution: Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting, in-depth understanding of REST API testing, and familiarity with JIRA or other ticketing systems.
- Agile Development: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Education: BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
- Language: Fluency in English.
