Backend Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Engineer to lead initiatives enhancing database performance and developing scalable software systems.

About the Role:

  • Data Optimization: Lead the design and optimization of databases for improved performance, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Back-End Data Processing: Build and maintain efficient back-end systems to handle high data volumes.
  • Software Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications emphasizing performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • OOP and Clean Code: Write clean, modular code following Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
  • Collaborative Problem Solving: Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate concepts into actionable software solutions.

Required Skills:

  • Python Experience: 4+ years of experience with Python programming language.
  • Streamlit for Snowflake: Hands-on experience building tools using Streamlit for Snowflake.
  • SQL Knowledge: Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with Snowflake.
  • dbt Experience: Experience with dbt (data build tool) for data transformation and modeling.
