Financial Regulatory Specialist

As a Financial Regulatory Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of two legal entities. This includes ensuring the accuracy and completeness of their financial statements, regulatory reporting, and management reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct capital analysis, assist in budgeting, and run profitability metrics to support senior management decisions.
  • Liquidity Management: Monitor Service Center's cash flow, invoice collection strategy, short-term investments, and funding needs.
  • Collaborate with lines of business to assess local and US applicable regulations supporting new business initiatives.
  • Coordinate annual exercises for the Argentinean Central Bank (BCRA) Business Plan and ICAAP.
  • Monitor and report financial ratios required by BCRA such as Solvency & Liquidity, supervise daily limit monitoring, and present monthly reports to the Senior Country Officer and Service Center's lead.
  • Provide guidance on BCRA regulations including Capital related, Liquidity, Credit, and Other.
  • Oversight of month-end accounting closure process and presentation of Financial Statements.
  • Point of contact for local regulators and external audit team.
  • Participation in local committees (Risk, ALCO, Controls, Local Operating Committee).
Requirements:
  • Public accountant or bachelor degree in Business Administration with an accounting background.
  • Team management experience and proficiency in leveraging new technologies such as AI to enhance productivity and drive innovation.
  • Working for Financial Institutions or External Audit Firms.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
