We are seeking a highly skilled Project Execution Specialist to join our team in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting offshore project execution and brownfield modifications by turning engineering designs into practical scopes.
- Participate in concept selection, FEED, detailed design, and execution of offshore brownfield and debottlenecking projects.
- Translate engineering deliverables into practical offshore scopes, including input to workpacks, commissioning procedures, and offshore execution plans.
- Provide process input to procurement, such as equipment specs, datasheets, and technical bid evaluations.
- Support on-site execution: pre-start-up checks, SATs, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with construction, operations, HSE, and marine teams for offshore readiness.
Operational Support
- Review and approve process input for MOCs related to plant modifications, safety improvements, or debottlenecking.
- Perform or validate process simulations, hydraulic calculations, and line sizing for modifications.
- Provide technical support during production upsets, shutdowns, and restarts.
- Ensure lessons learned from offshore activities are fed back into design and operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical/Process Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5-6 years' experience in oil & gas, ideally with offshore brownfield or FPSO background.
- Strong understanding of oil, gas, and water processing systems, including separation, gas compression, and water treatment.
- Experience with process simulation tools, PFD/P&ID development, and safety studies.
- Familiarity with international standards and E&P company practices.
- MS Office package (mandatory) and Power BI (desirable).
