Job Overview

The Lead Machine Learning Engineer will drive business growth by building and optimizing recommendation systems that personalize user experiences at scale.

About the Role

This is a mid-senior level full-time position in Engineering and Information Technology for Advertising Services. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience building and scaling production ML systems with measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and scale ML systems that power real-time recommendations across millions of user journeys.
  • Build and optimize data processing pipelines (Spark, Beam, Dask) with efficiency and reliability improvements.
  • Develop ranking algorithms that balance relevance, diversity, and revenue.
  • Partner with product, engineering, and analytics to launch high-impact personalization features.
Requirements
  • Fluency in ranking algorithms and ability to turn data into engagement and conversions.
  • Proficiency with Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow or PyTorch).
  • Skilled with SQL and modern data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) plus data lakes.
  • Familiarity with distributed computing (Spark, Ray) and LLM/AI Agent frameworks.
