Localization Specialist Position

We are seeking a talented professional to join our vibrant team and contribute to our mission of language excellence as a Localization Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing the skills and building a solid professional foundation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to linguistic queries from partners and customers, collaborate with internal language subject matter experts and linguists.
  • Advocate for linguistic requirements for users in LATAM regions.
  • Research customer needs and satisfaction rates regarding translation.
  • Become the domain authority for product/language combinations after product training.
  • Maintain and disseminate best practice guides for the Localization Excellence Team to all development teams.
  • Ensure product translatability by collaborating with product owners and solution integration teams.
  • Educate internal teams on the importance of source language quality and context information.
  • Provide regular updates on language developments internally and externally.
Requirements:
  1. Familiarity with translatability best practices in software development.
  2. Experience with CAT tools, TMS platforms, and related technologies.
  3. Knowledge of terminology management tools, glossaries, and translation memories.
  4. Ability to work in a multi-time zone, multi-tasking environment.
  5. Basic knowledge of HTML, XML, XLF, JavaScript.
Additional Desirable Requirements:
  1. Familiarity with AI in localization.
  2. Experience with software development processes.
  3. Familiarity with financial and ERP content, including Brazilian financial regulations.
  4. Practical experience with machine translation post-editing (MTPE).
  5. Academic background in linguistics.
Working Environment:

The selected candidate will be part of the global Localization Excellence team, working within the NetSuite International Product team. Flexibility and travel are required. Remote work is possible.
