About this role

Porticus is seeking a Programme Manager to support and monitor the development of strategic programmes in the Latin America region within the Building Future Generations Sector (BFG).

Job description

The Programme Manager will split their time between the Children on the Margins Challenge in Brazil and Peru, and the Knowledge Centre globally. They will also dedicate a smaller portion of time to one of the topics covered by the Latin America Region.

Key focus areas
  • Supporting the development of strategic programmes in the Latin America region
  • Monitoring progress and adapting strategies as needed
  • Collaborating with colleagues in different offices and regions

The Programme Manager will work closely with partners, including local and global NGOs, communities, people with lived experience, policy makers, and co-funders.

Skills and qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in programme management, preferably in a similar sector or region
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
