Seeking a visionary leader to spearhead software development and drive innovation in our team. As a Software Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables while designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing software solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Establish a robust presence in Brazil and collaborate on determining long-term focus areas for the team.
- Drive technical problems with cross-Search and Google impact.
- Collaborate with local Search leaders to create a center of engineering excellence for the broader organization.
- Mentor and develop team members on technical and non-technical skills.
You will have the opportunity to make an impact on billions of people globally by reimagining what it means to search for information - any way and anywhere.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
- 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- Ability to communicate in English fluently.
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, and/or cross-business projects.
