Senior Technical Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Technical Lead to oversee the development of cutting-edge products and features.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage expertise in software design principles, patterns, and best practices to lead cross-functional teams in delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and other stakeholders to develop product roadmaps and technical strategies.
  • Mentor team members in their career development, providing guidance and support to help them grow professionally.
  • Participate in solution design for complex features, working closely with architects and other team leads.
  • Develop and implement testing strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture, deployment, cost, availability, and performance.
  • Monitor team progress against committed goals and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Possess an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven experience leading software development teams, including remote team members.
  • Have a deep understanding of software and SaaS design principles, patterns, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with designing components and services for use in a larger ecosystem.
  • A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience with Cloud and SaaS Development: Azure/AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, event-streaming, etc.
  • Proficiency in writing services in Java, Python, or JavaScript, with experience in relevant frameworks such as Spring Boot, Django, Node.JS.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
  • Experience with creating and consuming relational and non-relational data such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra.
  • Familiarity with secure coding practices and ability to identify and fix security issues.
  • Experience with unit testing or other automated testing tools such as JUnit, JMeter, JEST, Karma/Jasmine, Protractor.
  • Proficiency in Git version control.
  • Familiarity with back-end build tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab, Gradle, Maven, npm.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to learn fast.
Desired Experience and Skills:
  • Prior experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Familiarity with deployment automation tools such as Helm and Ansible.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL.
