About the Opportunity:

This role involves overseeing critical safety and security incidents across assigned regions, documenting events accurately, and coordinating responses with legal, operations, and leadership teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee critical safety and security incidents across assigned regions
  • Document events with accuracy and coordinate responses with legal, operations, and leadership teams
  • Act as an escalation point for complex or high-severity cases
  • Monitor local safety risks and trends in mobility, public security, and infrastructure
  • Provide actionable guidance to local operations on incident prevention, courier safety, and area-specific threats
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with public safety agencies, traffic authorities, criminal investigation units, and labor unions
  • Facilitate communications with external entities to resolve incidents or enable business continuity
  • Assist regional teams in executing safe logistics operations, especially during high-risk deployments or local activations
  • Provide safety planning support for new projects or regional expansions
  • Promote a culture of safety and accountability across teams and field staff
  • Coordinate internal safety campaigns, training sessions, and procedural briefings
  • Analyze incident patterns and propose data-driven prevention strategies
  • Create and maintain risk dashboards and contribute to the continuous improvement of internal safety protocols
  • Conduct scheduled and ad hoc site visits to ensure adherence to safety protocols

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in field operations, incident management, law enforcement, corporate security, or related risk areas
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially under pressure
  • Experience dealing with public institutions and emergency services
  • Solid understanding of Brazilian regulatory and safety frameworks
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts or on-call as part of a 24/7 operational coverage
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to high-stress environments and rapidly changing situations
  • Fluency in Portuguese. English is an asset
