We are seeking highly motivated and experienced professionals to join our team as Consultant and Application Engineers.

Your Impact

You will contribute to both Consulting and Application Engineering activities, with the opportunity to guide your career path to focus on a particular role.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Project Execution (Consulting Focus): Execute consulting projects using advanced methodologies, ensuring delivery to the highest quality and within set timelines.
  • Business Development (Applications Engineering Focus): Provide technical sales support to Business Development Managers, including visiting prospects, developing presentations, guiding software evaluations, attending trade shows and presenting at seminars and conferences.
  • Customer Support: Prepare and conduct training courses, provide helpdesk activities, and respond to direct support requests.
General Requirements
  • Maintain effective relationships with internal customers, external customers, and technical peers to support effective project delivery.
  • Work on projects/assignments of moderate to complex scope.
  • Provide information and feedback to internal or external customers in a timely, accurate and appropriate manner.
Necessary Qualifications
  • A BEng, MEng, MSc, or Ph.D. in Chemical, Process, or Petroleum Engineering.
  • First-principles or mechanistic modelling experience.
  • Programming experience is an asset but not essential.
  • Relevant industrial experience gained from working in operating companies, production facilities, allied industries or roles that required process simulation experience is advantageous.
Sought Skills and Attributes
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering activities.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in process simulations related activities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Ability to prioritize scheduled tasks and react to unexpected problems.
