Financial Accounting Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accounting Expert to join our team in São Paulo. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounting operations for our LATAM entities, focusing on Mexico.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of post-qualification accounting experience in a multi-currency environment and international operations. They should also have strong knowledge of IFRS and accounting regulations, as well as proficiency in MS Excel.

In this position, you will own and deliver accurate month-end and quarter-end closes within deadlines. You will also manage SOX compliance, perform reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies. Additionally, you will prepare internal management reports and financial commentary, support Brazil external audit, and contribute to the preparation of local GAAP financial statements.

The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Fluency in Portuguese and English is essential, with working proficiency in Spanish being a plus.
