Our Technical Opportunities:

- Develop high-quality, performant, and testable code that contributes to company-wide initiatives and drives business success

- Utilize diverse technologies including Elixir, Ruby, React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Kafka, AWS/Lambda, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB to deliver scalable and maintainable systems

- Participate in technical decision-making that shapes the future of our software systems and drives innovation

- Learn new skills or software design patterns and drive company initiatives forward by staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

- Collaborate with peers by reviewing pull requests and providing feedback to ensure high-quality code and efficient development processes

- Pair up with a team member to work together on features and deliver projects efficiently

- Deploy user-facing code to production and ensure seamless user experiences

Requirements:

- 3-5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

- Understanding of reusable components and component libraries to streamline development and reduce complexity

- Knowledge of building production-ready web applications and systems that meet business requirements and user needs

- Passion for testing practices and continuous improvement to ensure high-quality code and efficient development processes

- Familiarity with Elixir, Erlang, Ruby, JavaScript, Next.js, or other programming languages to adapt to changing project needs

- Proficiency in common programming tools such as IDEs, RESTful APIs, Git repositories, TypeScript, version control software, and remote deployment tools to streamline development and delivery

- Bachelor of Computer Science degree or equivalent experience with a strong foundation in computer science principles and software engineering

- Familiarity with event-based architectures, database fundamentals, and GraphQL to design and develop scalable and maintainable systems

- Enthusiasm for solving problems for users with technology to drive business success and improve user experiences
