Procurement Specialist

You will play a vital role in supporting all sites in South America for eco processes. This includes steel, metal fabrication, and plastics. As a procurement specialist, you will assist both eco buyers and raw steel specialists.

Your focus will be on improving product costs through market testing, supplier analysis, and cost breakdown analysis. You will collaborate with the manufacturing and logistics departments to ensure a smooth production line operation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Analyze annual results, savings, and economics for our sites;
  • Manage suppliers in raw steel commodities, identifying and implementing cost reductions;
  • Determine applicable suppliers based on technical, commercial, and approval criteria;
  • Support various departments (engineering, quality, logistics, and manufacturing) throughout the eco process, providing necessary information.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field;
  • Intermediate level of English proficiency;
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills;
  • Good analytical skills and ability to make decisions under pressure;
  • Dynamics and strong interpersonal skills;
