Our organization employs Credit Analysts to assist in supporting Account Managers with credit reviews, risk monitoring, and client creditworthiness assessments. They evaluate our institution's risk appetite against market and economic conditions across diverse markets and asset classes.

About the Role

As a Credit Analyst, you will lead financial institution credit reviews, analyze and monitor client credit risk to ensure creditworthiness. You will provide insightful, succinct, and timely client portfolio credit analysis and be accountable for spreading financials, proposing credit grades aligned to scorecards, documenting client risk and mitigants, and monitoring for credit-material events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead FI/BBD credit reviews, analyze and monitor client credit risk, to ensure creditworthiness.
  • Provide insightful, succinct, and timely client portfolio credit analysis.
  • Accountable for spreading financials, proposing credit grades aligned to scorecards, documenting client risk and mitigants, and monitoring for credit-material events.
  • Partner with Banking, Coverage, and Risk teams to develop and execute credit analysis, credit origination, and monitoring relevant matters.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Familiarity with assessing the credit risk of financial institutions, preferably banks, hedge funds, asset managers, and PSDOs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to work across cultures and within a dynamic environment.
  • Risk management lifecycle.
  • Financial forecasting and modeling.
