Forensic Investigations and Intelligence Associate Role

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a team of experts in forensic investigations and intelligence. As a Forensic Investigations and Intelligence Associate, you will play a key part in conducting research and analysis to support the delivery of high-quality services to clients.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research on companies, individuals, and events using a wide range of sources, including public databases, commercial databases, and the internet. You will also be involved in site visits and interviews with identified sources, as well as planning research time and tasks to meet objectives set by project managers. In addition, you will develop an understanding of the strengths, appropriate uses, and limitations of research tools and methods, and identify patterns, abnormalities, and interpret their meaning within a context.

You will organize findings methodically to facilitate analysis and reporting, verify and corroborate pertinent and noteworthy findings, and identify gaps and follow leads within parameters of objectives, timeframe, and budget. Furthermore, you will present accurate, relevant, and robust findings to clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Strong investigative abilities
  • Prior investigative or research experience is desirable
  • Writing skills, including ability to quickly and effectively summarize information from multiple sources into concise analytical assessments
  • Financial proficiency and skills are preferred
  • Experience in forensic accounting, investigations, business intelligence, finance, or due diligence is advantageous
  • Ability to prioritize several projects and assignments on multiple topics while meeting tight deadlines
  • Advanced Spanish/English language skills are required
  • Proficiency in Portuguese is a plus but not essential
  • Bachelor's degree is required; Master's degree is desirable
