Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Consultant to join our team of experienced professionals. As an Accounting Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of assignments, including Initial Public Offering (IPO) readiness, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate accounting and finance projects.

• Provide financial and accounting expertise to clients
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations
• Develop and implement financial models and forecasts
• Collaborate with clients to understand their financial needs and goals

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification, or progress towards
• 3 years of relevant technical / strategic accounting experience
• 2 busy seasons in external audit with a Big 4 or large Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Firm
• Strong analytical, technical, and auditing skills
• Proficiency in U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Accounting Services Board (FASB) rules and standards
• Strong computer desktop skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• 1 busy season as a "Senior" in external audit with a Big 4 or large CPA Firm
• Corporate accounting and/or finance experience at a large public corporation
• Demonstrated career progression and job stability
