Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Analytics Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our data warehouse.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing scalable data models, enforcing data governance policies, and developing efficient SQL queries for analytical and reporting purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) on Snowflake to meet all business and compliance requirements.
  • Enforce data governance policies and practices to maintain data integrity, security, and compliance with global data privacy regulations.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries for analytical and reporting purposes, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with the data team to improve data processing, transformation, orchestration, and messaging framework(s), enhancing team productivity and efficiency.
  • Build data observability systems to provide near real-time visibility into errors, anomalous behavior, and late arriving data, enabling proactive issue resolution.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in RBAC principles, SQL, DBT core experience, and experience with workflow management frameworks like Airflow or Luigi.
  • Strong understanding of data governance policies and best practices for maintaining data integrity and security.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data issues and develop effective solutions.
