About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Consultant to join our team at Boston Consulting Group. As an IT Consultant, you will play a critical role in helping our clients achieve their digital transformation goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with client leadership teams to understand their key challenges and define IT strategies
  • Deploy customized IT strategies, digital platforms, and architecture to leverage the digital potential of our clients
  • Evaluate and coach our clients' technology teams, manage quality and risk while maintaining client expectations and escalations
  • Develop ground-breaking projects by enabling our clients to effectively use agile methods and modern approaches in the context of strategic IT implementation
Requirements
  • University degree with above-average academic performance in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Systems Analysis, or Information Technology
  • 03-06 years' experience in IT Strategy and consulting, professional software development, or IT project management
  • Experience from a consulting firm (focused on technology, digital initiatives) in IT organization and process development
  • Experience in a set of technologies that enables you to analyze legacy environments and propose approaches to modernize technology
  • Track record of use of different types of delivery methodology, such as Agile, Waterfall, and preferably some experience in Digital and Agile transformations at scale
  • Experience in IT organization and development process methodologies
  • Right balance between functional and technical trade-offs and experiences in data migration, cutover, and PMO
  • Deep understanding of different integration patterns and best practices such as events, synchronous vs. asynchronous, Data integration, etc.
  • Strong business acumen; can frame complex problems in appropriate business contexts
  • A strategic thinker, entrepreneurial, able to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills, strong customer focus, and mental agility with a results orientation
  • Fluent English; Spanish is a plus
