HVAC Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled HVAC technician to perform installations, repairs, and maintenance of marine HVAC and refrigeration systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work on commercial marine sites, utilizing their technical skills and knowledge to ensure efficient and safe operations.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in the HVAC service industry, with a strong background in commercial and industrial settings.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing accurate diagnoses, inspections, and repairs of marine HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Installing and maintaining equipment, including filters, oilers, and belt adjustments.
• Assisting senior technicians as needed, and transporting rigging equipment.
• Providing excellent customer service, adhering to our industry-leading safety program.

Requirements

• 5 Years' experience in the HVAC service industry.
• Commercial and Industrial Experience is an asset.
• Good Written and Oral Communication.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Clean Driver's Abstract.
• The ability to join UA-516 or be a member in good standing.

Assets

• Maine HVAC Experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of BACnet and Modbus communication protocol is preferred.
• Previous technical/installation experience.
