Lead Embedded Linux Field Engineering Specialist

The Embedded Linux Field Engineering Manager oversees a regionally-focused team of Field engineers, facilitating successful Presales and Professional Services activities with customers. This involves collaborating on solution architecture, design, and delivery to ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Accountabilities:- Develop and lead a team of Field engineers in Presales and Professional Services
- Provide trusted guidance to customers by promoting our technologies and offering expert advice
- Coach, mentor, and provide career development feedback to team members
- Monitor and measure key performance indicators for the team
- Implement and maintain disciplined engineering processes
- Represent the team and product to stakeholders, partners, and customers
- Develop and promote best practices in engineering and organizational management
- Plan and manage progress towards agreed goals and projects
- Excellent academic record from high school and university
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Extensive experience with embedded Linux - Yocto or other distributions
- Experience with Linux - Debian or Ubuntu preferred
- Proficiency in Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust programming languages
- Ability to manage a small team and facilitate collaboration
- Experience with customer engagements and account management
- Professional written and spoken English language skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including adaptability and accountability
- Results-driven individual with a commitment to meeting deadlines
- Effective communicator of business value and technology benefits
