Endoscopy Practitioner

Job Description:

Spire Leeds Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Endoscopy Practitioner (Nurse) to join their team. As a key member of the endoscopy department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of the endoscopy list.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Complete clinical tasks under the supervision of senior staff and contribute to the training of others.
2. Perform site intravenous access when admitting patients requiring sedation, when competent.
3. Contribute to the team's tasks to ensure the endoscopy list flows efficiently according to CHEC Endoscopy SOP and other policies.
4. Prepare clinical areas for daily activities.
5. Participate in CQC and JAG accreditation and continuing competency training requirements through the JETs framework.
6. Provide compassionate patient care and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
7. Display attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
8. Demonstrate good listening abilities and logical thought processes.
9. Work effectively as part of a team.

Requirements:
