We are seeking an experienced data engineer to join our analytics team.
Our company empowers local economies and enables our business to make informed decisions by leveraging data-driven insights. We are looking for a talented individual who can help us build and support the data infrastructure that powers our analytics platform.
This role will play a key part in architecting and engineering our data infrastructure, designing and implementing data warehouse schemas, and developing ETL pipelines using tools such as Airflow and dbt.
You will work closely with our analysts, scientists, and engineers to develop the tools and insights necessary to support our business needs. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our organization and be a part of shaping the future of our data team.
About YouWe are looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in data engineering or software engineering, with expertise in cloud architecture and SQL skills. You should have proficiency in authoring Airflow DAGs and experience with data observability and monitoring frameworks.
As a strong business thinker, you should be able to use 'first principles' to solve challenging business problems at their root level. Data-driven and analytical, you should be passionate about telling the story behind the data and turning it into actionable insight.
