Eco-Biodiversity Specialist

Eco-Biodiversity Specialist sought to lead biodiversity baseline studies, critical habitat assessments, and ecosystem services evaluations to inform project planning and conservation strategies.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing technical documentation, including biotic environmental sections of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), and compliance reports for regulators and financial institutions.
• Ensuring alignment with IFC Performance Standard 6 (PS6) and relevant national regulations.
• Designing and overseeing biodiversity monitoring programs, including Key Biodiversity Indicators (KBIs), to track ecological performance and inform adaptive management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree in Biology, Ecology, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in biodiversity assessment, management, and conservation planning.
• Demonstrated expertise in applying IFC Performance Standard 6 and integrating nature-related risk frameworks.
