Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all import and export activities are conducted in compliance with local regulations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Stay up-to-date on local import and export regulations and ensure that all activities are in compliance.
  • Prepare and submit necessary documents to regulatory agencies, including Anvisa and Federal Revenue.
  • Gather and review documents and data for studies and projects before they begin.
  • Review invoices, bills of lading, and other documents to ensure compliance.
  • Lead administrative maintenance of processes and files, including opening folders and preparing forms.
  • Populate department and customer metrics.
  • Communicate with customers regarding the status of cases.
  • Identify and report any deviations or non-compliance issues.

**Requirements:**

  • Students or graduates in health, engineering, logistics operations, or management/foreign trade areas.
  • Intermediate to fluent level of spoken and written English.
  • Knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Office package, and Internet.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Courses in Foreign Trade or Logistics.
