We are seeking an Application Security Analyst to play a pivotal role in safeguarding our digital products, data, and user experience. This remote-friendly position will report to the Senior Manager of the Verification and Pentest team within the Secure Product Engineering organization.

As part of this team, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security threats. Your responsibilities will include:

* Triage and investigation of reported vulnerabilities through our Coordinated Vulnerability Disclosure program
* Investigation of daily alerts, analysis of logs for Indicators of Compromise (IoCs), and creation or enhancement of detections
* Identification of systemic vulnerability trends and patterns, and engagement with security teams to prevent these at scale
* Accurate assessment of security impact, articulation of remediation steps to product teams, and reporting of impact to leadership

You will also have opportunities to contribute to internal knowledge sharing and skill development through talks and presentations within the company.

For this role, we are looking for individuals with a strong background in full stack Application Security reviews, spanning multiple platforms and programming languages. Your expertise should include:

* At least three years hands-on experience in Application Security reviews
* Experience discovering and remediating CWE Top 25 and OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities
* Familiarity with log aggregation platforms, such as Grafana, and ability to query logs and set up detections
* Experience handling coordinated vulnerability disclosure programs
* Hands-on experience with security assessment tools and understanding of their applicability and limitations
* Knowledge in multiple domains, including Networking, OS Internals, Cloud Architecture, Web Frameworks, or Mobile Architecture
* Understanding of best practices and common pitfalls in cryptography, authentication mechanisms, authorization controls, and network configurations
* Familiarity with exploitation techniques, including XSS, SQLi, IDOR, MitM, DoS, BOF, and ROP

The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written English skills and hold a Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science or Information Security, or equivalent industry experience.
