Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in a key role that involves setting strategy, guiding clients, and reviewing the work of case managers using legal automation technology.

This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in environments that bring new opportunities to problem solve and create.

As a senior expert in immigration law, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guidance and support to clients and internal teams alike.

You will also supervise, mentor, and review the work of case managers covering a wide range of visa categories.

Additionally, you will advise and guide clients with the initial setup of electronic-posting processes for LCAs and recruitment processes for PERM applications.

Assist in drafting complex filings as needed. Ensure all submissions meet high quality standards for our clients.

Communicate with clients to assess eligibility for business-related immigration benefits. Provide timely updates to clients and respond to inquiries.

Research legal issues related to immigration benefits. Utilize reports and manipulate data to prioritize work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set strategic direction, provide client guidance, and review case manager work using legal automation technology.
  • Supervise, mentor, and review case manager work across various visa categories.
  • Advise and guide clients on electronic-posting process setup and recruitment processes for PERM applications.
  • Draft complex filings as needed and ensure high-quality submissions.
  • Communicate client eligibility for business-related immigration benefits and provide timely updates.
  • Research immigration-related legal issues and utilize data to prioritize work.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • JD or LLM degree and bar license from any US state.
  • 2-5 years of relevant immigration attorney experience.
  • Passion for delivering an exceptional client experience.
  • Solid understanding and prior experience preparing and reviewing at least 3 of the following petition types: H1B, L1, E2, O1, PERM, EB1A, AOS.
  • Prior experience representing startups and emerging technology companies, individual creatives, or corporate clients without established immigration programs.
  • Experience training and supervising paralegals, case managers, and/or legal assistants.
  • Prior experience working successfully in a remote environment.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Able to learn technology tools quickly.

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience with startup and emerging technology companies, or individual creatives.
  • Experience working with corporate clients without established immigration programs.
  • Training and supervising paralegals, case managers, and/or legal assistants.
  • Working successfully in a remote environment.
