Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our electrical engineering department, you will be responsible for developing new products and components, improving existing ones, and providing technical support to operational teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify manufacturing/engineering deficiencies and propose solutions.
  • Responsible for test planning, cost reduction, innovation, and improvement.
  • Responsible for the electrical design of products manufactured or designed in the HV Instrument Transformers (ITR) manufacturing plant located in Brazil.
  • Guarantee product compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Ensure that all technical documentation required for manufacturing and sales is prepared in high quality, efficiently, and on time.
  • Participate in development of new products, improvement, and customization of existing products. Work closely with unit and ITR departments involved in the development process.
  • Provide technical support in the resolution of field problems. Provide technical guidance to suppliers, working closely with purchasing. Support manufacturing on a daily basis.
Required Qualifications
  • Important experience in High Voltage apparatus engineering.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Advanced English for Communication.
Desired Characteristics
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, and execute programs.
  • Experience in the field of instrument or power transformers is a plus.
  • Third language skills are beneficial, especially French.
