Procurement Associate: IT Products

At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Associate to join our Corporate IT team. As a key member of this team, you will play a vital role in procuring high-quality and cost-efficient supplies for our business units.

The Procurement Associate will be responsible for managing inventories, maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records, and researching and evaluating prospective suppliers. This individual will also work closely with the IT technical team and HQ procurement team to propose solutions from a commercial perspective and ensure high-quality products/supplies.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow and enforce company procurement policies and procedures
  • Manage inventories and maintain accurate purchase and pricing records
  • Maintain and update supplier information, including qualifications, delivery times, and product range
  • Research and evaluate prospective suppliers
  • Souce, negotiate, and establish purchases for IT goods and services
  • Work with IT technical teams and HQ procurement teams to propose good solutions from a commercial perspective and ensure out-coming high-quality products/supplies
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field (preferred)
  • Skills: Knowledge of commercial relationship build-up and procurement techniques/processes; experience in negotiations and networking; strong analytical skills, attention to detail; ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Advantages: Good resource of supplier solutions; work experience in IT suppliers/IT industry
