About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance and Compliance Professional to join our team at Tata Consultancy Services. As a Data Governance Specialist, you will play a critical role in implementing and maintaining our data governance structures and policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as GDPR.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data governance frameworks and policies to ensure data quality and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain metadata management systems to track and manage data assets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address data quality issues.
  • Provide data governance training and awareness programs to ensure a culture of data quality and compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data governance and compliance.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in data governance and compliance, with a focus on GDPR.
  • Hands-on experience with data governance tools such as Informatica and Talend.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, analysis, and transformation using Power Query, DAX, and other tools.
  • Metadata management experience with tools such as Collibra or Alation.
  • Business analytics experience with a focus on data-driven decision making.
  • Strong SQL skills with experience in data warehousing and business intelligence.
