Job Title: Kitchen Team Lead

This is an entry-level position responsible for assisting the department manager in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized kitchen environment.

  • Multitasking skills are essential to excel in this role. You will work efficiently and effectively communicate with team members.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Promptly review the work schedule, check equipment and supplies required, comply with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, and prepare for duties at the start of each shift.
  2. Produce products for the sales floor warmers and hot bar according to plan-o-gram (POG) and standard operating procedures (SOP).
  3. Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors, and counters.
  4. Complete food safety compliance logs daily.
  5. Train team members and track and record loss using known loss tracing (KLT).
  6. Making sandwiches, subs, and wraps, labeling, and putting them into the display case as per SOP.
  7. Making pizza, cooking with turbo oven, removing and cutting the pizza, packaging, and serving it to customers.
General Rules:
  • Report accidents and file incident reports within 24 hours.
  • Follow instructions and report unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
  • Wear PPE where required, including cut-resistant gloves when working with knives or blades.
  • Demonstrate proper food safety and sanitation work habits.
  • Use proper lifting procedures and keep floors and work areas clear and clean.
