Position Overview:
We are currently seeking seasoned Golang Software Engineers to contribute to our software development initiatives. The ideal candidates will possess a strong background in software engineering, particularly in video streaming and encoding technologies, along with proficiency in Git, Go, FFMPEG/GSTREAMER, H264, and Azure DevOps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, develop, and deploy software solutions tailored to meet client requirements.
- Engage in the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and ongoing maintenance.
- Collaborate with fellow software engineers to ensure high-quality code production.
- Participate in code review sessions to uphold coding standards.
- Diagnose and resolve software-related issues.
- Perform unit and integration testing to validate code quality.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years specializing in Golang.
- Strong understanding of WebRTC, ideally with the Pion library.
- Experience with RTP protocols and H264 encoding techniques.
- In-depth knowledge of goroutines and concurrent programming in Go, along with integration capabilities with FFMPEG/GSTREAMER.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Proficient in writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Understanding of agile development methodologies.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
- Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in both Portuguese and English.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in developing real-time communication systems.
- Knowledge of additional media streaming technologies.
- Contributions to open-source projects.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools.
- Experience in creating software services utilizing Golang.
- Knowledge of C/C++ programming languages.
- Experience with Azure DevOps.
Language Proficiency:
Fluency in English is required.
